These are the dialogue bits from the game .tlk file that were apparently not used in the final game. The popular interpretation is that they may have been an alternate way for Disciple to initiate his desire for the Exile to train him to be a Jedi. ################################################# It is time for us to return to Dantooine. There is one holocron that has been hidden, that may shed some light on things to come. I will show you when we get there - it is in one of the private chambers, well hidden. Come, it is this way. This is the chamber. {Bends down} Let us go inside. This is the chamber where I first saw you enter the Enclave. Where you told me that you were not here to take a Padawan, but instead, go to war. I still hear your words. They still travel - here, you changed my life, forever. I ask now that you change it again. This holocron is yours. I do not know if you remember it, but I give it to you. And ask that you hear it, then speak to me again. ################################################# These lines by themselves do not make a complete scene, however, so in the interest of putting together something that sounded more like an entire scene, I spliced in quite a bit of stuff from the in-game sequences - most notably, from his explanations of why he left the Jedi Order and his lines about wanting to be trained. I then further sliced and diced a couple of *those* lines into smaller segments and all together, made a whole. So the first 40 seconds or so are the 'cut' lines, and the rest are ones you've probably heard, with some variation in how/when they're used. One thing of interest, however -- I've always been intrigued by how Disciple says he 'failed the first test', during his descriptions of his choices - what was that test? And then, he has a line (which I don't remember hearing in the game, but perhaps I just never hit upon the dialogue tree that triggers it) where he says he chose the Exile over millions, because he has "attachments." What attachments? His crush on the Exile? He sounds kind of embarrassed when he says it. So I wove that line into my little scenario as well. :D I do not claim that this 'whole' is/was in any way similar to any possible vision the original game programmers had. It's just for fun! Cheers!
